WHEN: Friday, October 12, 2018, 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm
REGION: Middle Tennessee
WHERE: Courthouse Square, Murfreesboro
WHAT: Heart of Tennessee Murfreesboro Loves is a community project supporting the cultural arts and embracing the love and diversity of our citizens. Innovative artists will paint stylized 24 x 24 aluminum hearts, which will be displayed around the square during the Fall. These unique pieces of art will eventually be assembled into a public sculpture. All materials will be provided to the artists through business sponsorships, Vanderbilt Heart being a major sponsor. Artists are asked to submit idea proposals and color choices to: email@example.com. There are only a few hearts available for artists because of the great response. Those chosen, will display their heart at the October 12th Boro Art Crawl, 6-9 pm, Courthouse Square. There will also be music and poetry readings that evening.
We still need sponsorships from our Business community for sponsorship of individual heart sculptures for $250. to benefit the Boro Art Crawl.
If you are interested, contact Ginny Togrye at 615-403-7161 or firstname.lastname@example.org. Business names will be displayed with the hearts and on a plaque at the site of the assembled public sculpture. They also will receive shout-outs on Boro Art Crawl site with business tag, printed and online thank you on Murfreesboro Pulse Magazine, recognized in press release, and receive photo of final sculpture signed by all artists.
