Bring toda la familia for this Academy Award-winning animated favorite, with the Nashville Symphony performing Michael Giacchino’s beautiful score live, complete with a classical guitar soloist and a mariachi band onstage. Celebrate Día de Los Muertos at the Schermerhorn with this heartwarming film, which follows aspiring young musician Miguel as he encounters unexpected adventures in the Land of the Dead.

ILS - Principles of Flight at 47th Annual Pink Palace Crafts Fair

WHAT:  ILS will enhance the learning of the four basic principles that affect flight: lift, drag, thrust, and gravity. Attendees will have an opportunity to make paper airplanes and rockets of their own design. Participants will the test their airplane or rocket for accuracy and distance using targets provided for measurement.

Country Music Hall of Fame & Museum - Relief Printmaking with Hatch Show Print

WHAT:  Learn about relief printmaking with historic print studio, Hatch Show Print. Collaborate with a friend to make a print, or make one of your own. In this workshop, participants will learn about positive and negative space, mirror image, and color layering by arranging a unique typeface called Alpha-Blox. After creating a design of letters, patterns or shapes, aspiring printmakers will ink their design with a brayer and print it on a sign press to reveal the art. Educator artists from Hatch Show Print will be on hand to lend guidance and expertise. Ages 5 and up. Taylor Swift Education Center. Limited seating. Included with museum admission. Free to museum members. Presented in support of Fall Break Fun.

Shop one-of-a-kind, finely crafted artwork directly from the juried, award-winning artists. A unique feature of Tennessee Craft Fairs requires artists to be on-site. While shopping, you’ll meet the artists, learn what inspires them and how they take raw materials like clay, wood, metal and glass and transform them into fine craft. In addition to the array of high quality craft, visitors enjoy fun hands-on activities in our Kids’ Tent, food from area vendors and demonstrations from artisans aimed to educate as they create pieces in front of your eyes.
