Dr. Rosa Vasquez Espinoza
We are thrilled to introduce internationally recognized scientist, conservation leader, and National Geographic Explorer (and Tennessee Tech graduate) Dr. Rosa Vásquez Espinoza. A Peruvian-born chemical biologist, author, and award-winning explorer, Dr. Vásquez Espinoza has dedicated her career to bridging scientific discovery, environmental conservation, and Indigenous knowledge to inspire global action. She is the founder and executive director of Amazon Research International and has been recognized among the BBC's 100 Most Influential Women in the World, received the UNESCO–Al Fozan Laureate Award, and earned international acclaim for her groundbreaking work protecting biodiversity in the Amazon rainforest.
