Host a booth at STEAM-a-Palooza

STEAM-a-Palooza is an annual STEAM-fair held at Discovery Center in Murfreesboro every year as part of the Tennessee STEAM Festival. Organizations from across Middle Tennessee come together to demonstrate how their organizations use science, technology, engineering, art, and math every day.

Hands-on fun for everyone!

  • Join us for one of the most fun and interactive events of the year!

    STEAM-a-Palooza is back and better than ever, featuring interactive activities and incredible displays. Learn how to work a HAM radio, view the sun through a special telescope, meet some special droid friends, and so much more!

    When: October 10, 12:00pm-4:00pm
    Where: Discovery Center (502 SE Broad St, Murfreesboro TN 37130)
    Who: Everyone!
    Cost: Free!

    The museum will be open from 12:00pm-4:00pm on the day of STEAM-a-Palooza. Admission will be half-price.

  • Does your organization use science, technology, engineering, art, or math in your day-to-day operations! (Hint: even if you think the answer is no, you probably do, and we can help show you how!) Do you want to connect with community members and share more about what you do? Do you love being able to share your knowledge with others?

    If you answered “yes” to any of these questions, we would love to have you join us as an Exhibitor for STEAM-a-Palooza!

    On October 10, 2026, from 12:00pm-4:00pm, we will be hosting our annual STEAM-A-Palooza event to help highlight all things STEAM within our community! At STEAM-a-Palooza, we focus on hands-on, interactive demonstrations where people ages 1-100 can travel from booth to booth and learn about the processes behind robotics, composting, historical preservation, creative arts, physics, music, environmental conservation, mathematics, meteorology and everything in between. Last year we had approximately 700 guests join us for this fun filled day. 

    We would love to have you join us for STEAM-a-Palooza to share your passion and the  knowledge you have for STEAM! There is no cost to be a part of the event, and we will provide you with a 10x10 space, a 6ft table, and two chairs.  All we ask is that you provide some sort of hands-on activity or interactive presentation at your booth.
