WHAT: There are many reasons how animals survive in the wild. Maybe some can fly while others are fast runners. Every living thing needs to eat; so, what makes some animals better hunters than others? Does night vision aid in the survival of an animal? All these questions, and more, are answered when looking at animal adaptations. Through this concept, we can learn about all the skills and abilities our indigenous animal friends have that helps them hide, run, fly, swim, sneak, and hunt. How are these abilities similar, or different, to our own and how do their structures differ from one animal to another?
